Master Nicki Says. . .

Earlier this week hip hop extraordinaire Nicki Minaj stopped at Power 105.1 to interview and chop it up with the Breakfast Club crew. Initially Nicki was there mainly to discuss her latest project out Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded. We're not sure if Nicki was having a bad morning or if she had just had enough, because mama spazzed! We get a taste of that slick mouth all throughout her music but in the flesh I can't ever recall a time where I saw Nicki in such a rare form.

Watching the Interview had me focused and all I could say was "wow!". Angela Yee (a Breakfast Club co host) mentioned Nicki's new perfume and Nicki asked if she had smelled it? Angela replied yes then Nixki asked if she brought it and Angela replied no. Nicki quickly shot back with "cuz you a hater". The radio personalities also had a number of other things they wanted to discuss like her altercation with Ms. Mariah Carey on American Idol, a well as her E! three part series. But Nicki wasn't having it. She just went in, no pause no remorse. "See that's what I don't like about y'all New York people, y'all D-Ride stuff that got a big name on it. Y'all need to start tryna break records and listen to people's music" SNAPS! And scene!

Nicki also went on to say that she was going to start holding the Breakfast Club responsible and to a higher standard and pointed out that they need to do their research and be as current as possible. Mama definitely didn't come to play. In my opinion though I don't feel like she was wrong at all because being in the business just like her job is to stay relevant, a journalist or radio personalities job is to stay current plain and simple. I bet this will teach other radio stations/ reporters/ journalist a lesson the next time they think about asking Nicki for an "interview". You can check out the segment below. -@meangirl_ro
