Miranda. The reasonable, yet insanely funny funny Sex And The City character was diagnosed with her cancer back in 2006, but decided against going public with it until 2008 while on Good Morning America.

Miranda who's real name is Cynthia Nixon (who is also married to a woman), was a keynote speaker at the third annual Breast Cancer Summit in Baldwin this past Monday. Nixon told the story of her 83 yr old mother's 35 year struggle with the disease and her overcoming it.

Mainly know for her quirky and innovative designer handbags and shoes, you can now add  her to "strong woman" list. Betsy only ended up having to undergo a lumpectomy and 34 days of radiation. She is now cancer free!

Wanda, prior to her finding out about her cancerous traits had recently undergone a breast reduction. After returning for her lad work doctors discovered an almost stage zero cancer in her left breast.

Good Morning America anchor Robin Roberts announced her diagnosis back in 2007.

Robin while still on the show even went so far as to stop wearing wigs to hide her hair loss *sad face*

Robin underwent surgery, completed 8 chemotherapy treatments as well as 6 1/2 weeks of radiation. After which her cancer is now in remission and she is still an advocate for the disease at the beautiful age of 52! Revolt TV. The Revolution.

Revolt by definition means: Rise in rebellion. I'm pretty sure that's exactly what Diddy has in mind moving forward with his brand new music Network. ''Dedicated to the creators of this generation"
Diddy has always been a perfectionist who brands and stands by his product, whether it be alcohol, TV, music, or clothing.

He's had so many ventures and successful endeavors throughout his twenty plus years in the game, that this network takeover doesn't surprise me at all! It's quite expected, in fact only someone of Diddy's magnitude can pull off something like this.

The self proclaimed "King Of New York" is being backed by Keith Clinkscales, who also serves as the CEO of revolt along with a host of other moguls and colleagues  who believe this to be a very stretegic move as far as marketing and the future of music is concerned, hence creating a lane for what he considers to be the "white space". For the mass of us that complain about this artist or that  genre of music not being recognized and being underrated, I believe revolt is for us!

I cant wait to see what they have lined up! The best part about the whole thing is that we have something that we can call ours, that we can relate to, and something to grow with. "Revolt TV will be like the ESPN of music, or comparable to Real Time With  Bill Maher" Says Diddy. I'm interested in knowing if other networks (with their repetitive lineups and failed revamping of programming i.e. BET, MTV, FUSE, VH1) are starting to feel the heat or at all threatened, if not I really feel they should be clutching pearls and buckling knees. This thing is about to get R.E.A.L! The network launched live  officially last night at 8 pm.

Check you cable providers for channels also too see if Revolt is available in your area. We are midway through Breast Cancer Awareness Month 2013 & I’m sure you’ve come across companies & organizations trying to raise money for the cause. One of the most unique approaches is nail lacquer. Every year polish brands release a specific pink or a collection of pinks & a portion of the purchase is donated to breast cancer research or a breast cancer foundation.

Making a contribution & painting your nails a pretty shade of pink is the perfect way to support the cause. Instead of trying to find something pink to wear every day of the month you can display your spirit on your fingertips. Miley got naked and covered herself in metallic paint only to be featured in Future's music video for his single "Real and True"   

Here's what Future said about working with Miley this time around:

“I worked with Miley Cyrus when we were working on her project, for her album. I was doing some records in Vegas and Mr. Hudson sent a hook back he did on a Mike Will track. He played it for Miley and she wanted to be a part of it, so I’m putting the record on my album also.”

Pink Warrior

Jessica was 29 when she found her lump in April of 2011. She had a bilateral mastectomy. Even after Jessica's surgery, the doctors found more active cancer cells. The cancer was still trying to spread.

She started chemo treatment again and it deteriorated her white blood cells. Jessica had heard through a friend about "Forks Over Knives" ( A documentary made in 2011 directed by Lee Fulkerson that advocates a low fat whole-food, plant based diet as a means of combining a number of diseases).

After all the surgical procedures, chemo, and treatments Jessica could no longer fund other options. Jessica wanted to take on the 10 day program. She expressed with her family and friends what she wanted to do and they aided her in starting up a website which raised funds and was eventually able to send her to the retreat.  Jessica was diagnosed with an evasive stage 3 cancer. She went from a size 22 to an 6/8 by implementing the Forks over Knives Vegan lifestyle.  Although she underwent another surgery to have her ovaries and fallopian tubes removed, Jessica is now CANCER FREE! Who's Ya Daddy?!

The world (or at least a large portion of the nation) has gone from teary-eyed to wide-eyed! Since the news of Adrian Peterson's (other) 2-year-old son's brutal dead last week, the ladiessss have come out of hiding. Not 1... not 2... not 3, but FOUR! When did he find the time to make these kids and why did they find it appropriate to unveil themselves now? Hmmm... Hearing of the Ty's death, the 2-year-old was awfully tragic. A child is never deserving of that. Yet, the unfortunate event has raised quite a few unanswered questions about AP.

AP is said to have a 3-month-old daughter with a woman whom posted on her Facebook page, "Today has been a long day finding out my daughter's brother passed away and knowing that she never even got to meet him", referring to (Ty) the two-year-old's death. Rewind, did you catch the teas where it says the daughter is 3 months?! Hmm...

*pause* The "secret" woman is a little too "emotional" for me. His own daddy didn't even know it was his child, so that arm-baby of yours will be just fine, chile. You just wanted recognition. (She got it too).

So, alleged baby mama #3 is a former exotic dancer in Dallas and also has a soon with AP. Her name is Erica Sylon and apparently she has photos proving the child is AP's. *waits back and forth waiting for pic release* AP and Erica have worked out a financial agreement where he pays for the living expenses and schooling of the child and is involved in his life "to some extent". Does his wife know?

BM #4 is a waitress at a nightclub in Minnesota, and HER child's last name is Peterson, as listed on the child's birth certificate, sources say. Hmmm

Fast-forward to present day, of course we immediately assumed it was Adrian Jr., as seen in most pictures, when the media mentioned the death of the kid. If Adrian Jr. is two years old and your alleged son whom will be placed in his grave soon was also two years old... There goes that "hmmm" again.

Sure, things happen in life where married adult men get (multiple) women, other than their wife pregnant. </sarcasm>

AP has a 6-year-old daughter and a 2-year-old son, that most may know about. Seems like AP is leaving his mark in every city.

Although she won't be considered GBM remission until she's been 5 years cancer free, it has now been 3 yrs and Nicole is still going strong! Miley Cyrus may have moved on from her ex fiance, Liam Hemsworth, already.  Sources says she left the Saturday Night Live after party early, and instead opted to hang out with Theo Wenner. 

Theo Wenner is a photographer for Rolling Stones.  Theo and Miley reportedly met at the Rolling Stone photoshoot, where he shot her cover and spread.

Is it possible to move on this quick? Will this new "relationship" bloom into something more serious?

Jennifer was diagnosed at age 29. She is now 31 and a survivor! When she found her lump one day after a shower, she took immediate action. Her primary doctor ordered her to have mammograms, biopsies, and tests ran.

Jennifer, after her double mastectomy surgery didn't like looking at herself and see no boobage so she went ahead to get implants. In the Hip Hop world, Future expressed his opinion regarding the comparison of Drake's NWTS album and his new album, Honest. Obviously, Mr. Degrassi wasn't too happy. Read more...

During a recent interview Future said, "Drake made an album that is full of hits but it doesn't grab you. They're not possessive; they don't make you feel the way I do. I want to make you want to fall in love." 

Future followed up with his statement via Twitter:

"Respect to Billboard, disappointed on being misquoted..always love for my fam DrizzyDrake". But too little, too late I suppose. 

Drake has requested Future be pulled from the "Would You Like A Tour" and he has been reportedly replaced by Jhene Aiko. Sheeesh! Canada boy is NOT playin!

Future is suing Drake for 1.5 M's in lost wages. Yikes!

The Game has been sufficiently rotating in our news as of late. Just last week we gave you guys some insight on the situation between him and Kourtney Kardashian (WHICH THERE IS NOR WAS A SITUATION). Now this week, or over this past weekend I should say, Jayceon made a bit more noise by signing to the Infamous Cash Money Records.

Birdman shared his excitement via Instagram with this pic and the caption: S/O @thegame shit too real whtup 5 west coast whts popin RICHGANG YMCMBusine$$$

The Game also shared the same pic to his Facebook/ Instagram with the caption: "Woke up feeling a lil different this morning thanks to @jasonofbh compliments of @birdman5star ....... you got ya self a killa potna... I have so many mixed feelings about this new ordeal. First let me start off by saying, I believe that if there were a rapping parrot Cash Money would sign it. They signed Paris Hilton, her first single/video sucked *waits for rebuttals* Exactly! My point is, they sign almost any and everyone. I don't know any label in music that has a roster that stems longer than theirs.


Secondly, The game is very talented, in fact so talented that he can carry himself. I'm really interested to see or hear from him any sort of reasoning behind this sudden business move. Not bad mouthing the venture or thinking negatively about it, just really bewildered as to why now, why them? Moreover, signing to cash money is similar to being independent. Being apart of the team is half the battle, you have to market, support and practically manage your own career! In an interview Tyga did not so long ago with the 105.1 The Breakfast club crew, when asked about getting a check from the label, Tyga said he had got NOTHING and did everything himself. Furthermore, Nicki Minaj is as successful as she is because she has a team, and she knows how to work! She has her own business brain and knows what she wants. Other artist that have been with Cash Money for years and years have been sitting ducks i.e. Bow Wow, Lil Twist, Lil Chuckie, Shanell, and the list goes on.

Anyhow I am nonetheless excited for The Game more so than the label itself. I'm definitely gonna keep a close watch on the growth of his career while rocking out with those guys! Both the game and Birdman (Rich Gang) took to their social networks to share the exciting news. Cant wait to see what happens!
