Pink Warrior

Amy found her lump after her son had just turned six months, who she was also breast feeding at the time. Both Amy's sister and her doctor thought it was just a clogged milk duct.

After 4 months the pain and size of the lump grew to be 3 centimeters. After visiting her primary care Amy had seen a number of doctors and underwent a number of test. The following week she found out officially that she had Breast cancer that had spread to one lymph node.

Three weeks later Amy had a radical mastectomy on her left breast (where the surgeon removes all of the breast tissue along with the nipple, lymph nodes in the armpit, and chest wall muscles, under the breast).
