Meet Bridget Spence. She was diagnosed at age 21, one week after graduating from Boston College. She has stage IV cancer, with no family history of the disease whatsoever! Her lump was found six months before her diagnosis.
Her CT scans showed a 3cm tumor in her liver. Bridget found comfort, hope and help in the Susan G. Komen foundation. She has been living with her stage IV cancer for seven years. Although there is no cure, the funding from the foundation has created plenty of awareness and medications.
