Today's Pink warrior is Coralee. Cora was at the beach when she discovered her lump (which was about the size of a lemon). A friend recommended that she see a doctor, who eventually informed her that he was not only sure it was cancer, but advanced.
Coralee hadn't had a mammogram in 3 years. The last time she had one scheduled, it was canceled by her healthcare physicians. She ended up having a mastectomy (surgical removal of one or both breast). Coralee read many books and found out as much information as she could. Everything from incision swelling, caring for her mastectomy and overall general breast cancer concerns.
Prior to locating her lump, Coralee had no previous health issues which means you can be as healthy as a horse, nonetheless it doesn't exempt you! Check out 1 of 3 of Coralee's story here.
