Tea Time!

Team Shoeicide Presents "Urban Tea" Team Shoeicide (www.ShopTeamShoeicide.com) is kicking off breast cancer awareness month this year like we've never done before. I, Traneir Gartrell have committed Team Shoeicide to the Susan G. Komen breast cancer foundation since my first year in business in 2011. Each year we strive to make a bigger donation and have more participants than the year before. Although we have grown by twice the size in participants for the annual walk, our donations have never been more than $300-$400 a year. This year, I decided to take a different approach to raise funds on behalf of the team.

Urban Tea is a Networking party where young adults (21 and older) will get together and "spill the tea" on breast cancer and the affects it has on both male and females young and old in our community. (Tea being urban slang for information) .

This event will take place on September 29th, 2013 in Miami's Wynwood Community at 120 NW 25th Street Suite #301 Miami, FL 33127. From 3-7pm. Hosted by comedian Christopher "Plus Daddy" with Music by DJ Lucky C. There will be a spoken word segment, giveaways, unlimited drinks, a best hat and best dressed male contest, and an auction that will allow one lucky participant the chance to win a full make over including hair, manicure, pedicure, makeup, shoes and clothes.

This event is geared towards raising funds for our team donation, and encourage more participants to register for the Susan G. Komen "Race for a Cure" 5k walk October 19th, 2013 at 7am. At this time, all proceeds from Urban Tea will be donated on behalf of Team Shoeicide and all it's participants.

We encourage everyone to participate and help us spread the word about Urban Tea. Our theme is Kentucky Derby/ Chic ( no jeans are allowed)

E-Tickets are available now for $15 until September 21st and can be purchased at www.ShopTeamShoeicide.com under the "Urban Tea" tab. Standard advance tickets are $20 and admission at the door is $25.
