Falling into Fall Fashion

It is officially Fall and with the change of season comes the change of fashion and this year’s Fall trends will make it a little easier to give up those sun dresses and sandals. Fall in Miami doesn’t always call for huge coats and a million layers of clothing, but you can still have fun with some Fall staples.

This Fall’s colors are gray and green. Not everything is black and white; gray is considered the new neutral. From charcoal to slate, all shades of the color are in. Green is having its moment in deep, rich shades that embody the season of autumn. These colors may seem drab and boring, but there is always a way to spruce them up. Add statement jewelry and other accessories to make the colors more lively.

The must have prints for the season are modern plaid and dark floral. Modern plaid comes in different sizes and a variety of colors, it’s no longer labeled the “grandma print”. Whether it’s a plaid suit or just one piece, you can’t go wrong with it this season. Bright floral has been worn throughout the summer, but now it’s time to tone it down. Get ready to be “snatched”. Whether you prefer a cape, pea, parka or trench coat, add a belt to accentuate your waist. No more bulky, unflattering coats to keep warm, adding a belt will make you feel sexy instantly.

·      Tuxedoes

Dresses may be taking a hiatus for Fall. Eveningwear will include modern black or white tie. It’s time to show men that women do it better. So find a sleek tux for an after five event you’ll be attending this Fall.

·      White Top and Black Bottom

Gray may be in, but black and white isn’t out. Fall calls for white tops paired with black bottoms. Play around with skirts, pants and different style shirts. However you choose to rock it, there is really no way to mess up this trend.

Put on a cute pullover sweater with a flowing A-line skirt to master the flirty schoolgirl look. Pair the outfit with a pair of combat boots to complete this Fall look.
