Rihanna is definitely keeping busy these days.
She just debuted her clothing line for River Island at London Fashion Week this
weekend, & today on her 25th Birthday she’s announced her new
partnership with MAC Cosmetics. Rihanna will release an entire collection that
will include lipstick, eye shadow, brushes, & other products that will
launch throughout the year. The first item to be released is a lipstick called
“RiRi Woo”, which is inspired by her favorite red MAC lipstick “Ruby Woo.” It will be available in a MAC pop-up shop on
May 4th & 5th while Rihanna’s tour is at the Barclays
Center in Brooklyn, NY.
Rihanna told Women’s Wear Daily “When you
think of makeup, the brand that pops into your mind — for something legit — is
MAC. Whatever color you want, it's like 'Let's go to MAC.' I've been using MAC
on tour for such a long time it was a natural fit for me. I have always loved
makeup, and I always said that if I do it, I want to do it with a credible
brand."
After Rih’s lipstick launches this May, she
will also release a summer collection, a fall collection, and a holiday
collection that will be a little more expensive than the others. The holiday
collection will include makeup bags, lipstick, nail polish & more. Now this
