Metallic shoes are one of the biggest trends for Spring/Summer 2013. Silver foil shoes and sandals were all over the runway during Fashion Week spotted at Nicole Miller, Emporio Armani, Giambattista Valli’s fashion shows. At Moschino heeled sandals were decorated with crushed crystals and metallic leaf plates while at Viktor & Rolf metallic pumps were made of textured material.

Metallic footwear is super futuristic and fashion forward, coming off of this fall/winter's leather rush you can see that the "back to the future" look is definitely going to be around for a while!
I'm personally a round toe pump kind gal, BUT this year will be return of the pointed toe! It's super chic and screams high fashion. One of my favorite looks has to be these subtle Sergio Rossi Suede Pointed toe pumps. Love them to death but they are a pretty penny retailing at $540 a pair... (YIKES)
