The skies are brighter. The sun is warmer. Summer is here.
With a season change comes a wardrobe change; basically, another excuse to
shop. But there is always a reason to shop, at least for me there is.
A shoe trend that has become popular again is what I like to
call, the “Rihanna heels”. She’s worn several pairs, although she may not be
the pioneer, when she wears things it instantly becomes the “thing”. You know the
single sole heels? Simple strap around the ankle and at the toe? Yeah those. I’m
finding myself trying those on in the store more often.
Disclaimer: I have stated this from the beginning – I am not
a fashionista. So please do not come for me for not knowing the name of this
style of shoe. They resemble the god awful kitten heels *slams on brakes*, to
be honest. But they give a little more height, however not enough to be a
stiletto. Get me? Whatev.
Anyway, I found a bad ass pair over the weekend. YES GAWD
HONEY! I cannot wait to rock them. I will share my shoeicidal pics when I pair
them with some type of dressing.
The blacks and nudes are seen more frequently but I like
when the neon colored ones are paired with solid colors or prints. Fun, fun,
fun!
