It's finally arrived! The second installment of the Rihanna for River Island collection. Just in time for summer fun. The highly anticipated pieces were released for fashionistas everywhere just days ago!
Browsing the site I spied with my fashion eyes lots of flirty, unique, and comfy ensembles. The line is equipped with everything from lounge tops, to crocheted tops and bottoms, and even a few swim suits! You can actually tell that Ri put her creative cap to work while crafting something that her navy would appreciate and respect. Although in my opinion a lot of the line isn't wallet friendly, it most definitely has some classic pieces that are worth the big bucks. For instance, the Green tie dye Rihanna bardot crop top (which also has a matching high waisted flare short and other pieces with the bold print). Other eye-popping separates included the fireman red one piece backless high-leg swimsuit and the vintage-like Barely There stilettos which are offered in black and nude (with a 12cm Stiletto heel and a fashionably sexy ankle strap). These babies however, could be considered a nice little treat/gift for a whopping $200!
By the looks of it, everything's ago on the fashion side of things. Ri definitely has an eye for distinguished taste in style and class when it comes to designing a line and catering to the modern girl! Aside from Ri's collection, River Islands original pieces are also to die for! A lot of my favorites lie in the "Mellow Yellow" section, where all the rave is the hot neon yellow you love to hate.
