DIY: Do It Yourself



Aquarius' are said to be highly creative individuals, however these guys are blowing me out of the water (no pun intended). I love things that are different yet not too risque. I was browsing through my social media and stumbled upon an Instagram profile that instantly grabbed my attention.

The profile gives all sorts of simple, girly DIYs. Things I would never think of. Here are a few things that I found to be kinda cool:

"Oh! Say can you seee..."

We are all familiar with the super trendy flag prints. Although, this fad plummeted after the passing of Independence Day you could always use this technique to create unique designs for yourself for next summer. (It's only half a year from now)

 

 

"Oh! You fancy, huh?"

 

 This brilliant technique is used to create a loose, wavy type look. A soft look is always the way to go. No need for hair sprays that harden or flake. Just twist your hair down to its end, add a hair tie to hold it in place and the run your flat iron from the root to the tip! Voila!

 

 

Wardrobe Malfunction.. Not quite.

 

This is definitely one I would have NEVER thought of in a million years. Sure, it's not the most creative but it is for sure one to impress. Now, this may not work for those plump, or extra curvy ladies but I can see many body types pulling this off. Think about it: one article of clothing that creates two completely different outfits. Can't beat that.  

 

 

Simple long-sleeved V-neck becomes a tie front mini-skirt

 

Flannel long-sleeved button up (boyfriend shirt) becomes a fun, flirty dress

 

Light It Up!

 

I found this to be fun and trendy. These glow-in-the-dark nails were actually created using ordinary nail polish but dripping the liquid from a glowstick into the bottles. So, now you can create a glow-in-the-dark effect using your favorite colors. Great idea for any Halloween events you plan to attend later this month.

 



 

Yum!

 

Okay, who doesn't love cookies and ice cream! It's every girl's guilty pleasure. These are cookie bowls! Ah ha! You place the cookie dough around the concave of the baking pans. When your timer goes "DING!" letting you know your creation is ready just add scoops of your favorite ice cream inside and indulge in your Heavenly dessert.
