When Kim Kardashian first arrived on the scene, we couldn't take our eyes off of her! Great face, hot body, and the curves that brought all the boys to the yard....even some of the girls! And because she had one of the most banging bodies, it allowed her to flaunt it and show off the goods. Kim could be caught at any hot event worth being seen at in skin tight, provocative, revealing pieces of clothing. Back in 2007 when her name began to ring bells for her infamous sex tape (with then boyfriend R&B singer Ray J) she had just become this huge obsession for the media and paparazzi. They wanted to know where she was gonna be, what she was gonna do next, and who she'd end up with.
In my own personal opinion Kim has always had great fashion sense. She always knows what to wear, when and how to wear it. With those curves and back yard she has back there, only she can wear a certain kinda dress or ensemble and give it all kinds of life. Take for instance her Hollywood Lifestyle Award show red carpet look from 2007. Sequined pencil skirt, satin bustier top. Skin and silhouette served! Or how about the monochrome strappy cut out number she wore at the DuJour Magazine launch party?! Either way legs, boobies and a poking bottom are always her MO for her red-carpet-ready attire.
On the Contrary, just recently Kimmy's decided to clean it up a bit. Nowadays when we see her hardly and boob or thigh is visible! The tricky part about this whole 360 is: Did Kim herself decide and say "hey, I'm getting older. Time to class it up a little." OR is it her new found love/ long time friend hip hop and fashion icon boyfriend turned stylist Kanye West (he plays many a roles already I'd say) who's saying " If you're gonna be my girl, and be seen on my arm, then you have to dress like this." I for one am all for covering up! I strongly believe that confidence exudes sexiness. Where in, you can throw on a nice fitted jean , tank, blazer and pump and still be "the ish". But what I am not a die hard fan of is compromising who you are to please your counterpart.
Recent photos of Kim, such as the one's from her 32nd birthday would certainly make one ponder. Kim was spotted out wearing a two piece winter green peplum blazer jacket and a matching knee length skirt.
And if she's not dressed for a special occasion, you can most likely catch her in something black and leather which we also see Mr. Yeezy in quite often as well (just something for you to think about). Even the episode of their popularly viewed and well-liked reality TV show: Keeping Up With The Kardashians where it features her super star boyfriend, he gets invited over to her home with his personal stylist in tow to skim through Kims closet. And they throw away pretty much everything she's built herself to be throughout the years (shoes, clothes, bags, you name it). That alone is very "suggestive" if I may say so myself. She's practically an honorary nun. And if for any bizarre reason she becomes one, I'd still love her. I just hope these changes are things she wants, not because baby wants her to.
