MIAMI MBFW Swim 2015 pre-recap

Hi Sweets, Here's a quick fashion treat to end your weekend :)

  

One more day left of the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Swim in Miami, FL. Although I live in the Midwest now Miami is home for me! There is nothing like the sponge-like sand that takes on a bronze glow, and the warm feel of the Atlantic Ocean. Miami is one of the few and perfect places to showcase the best to come for swimwear in 2015. 

This year marked the 10th anniversary of MBFW Swim being brought to South Beach by IMG Fashion. The Raleigh Hotel hosted the opening night commemorating a wonderful ten years. Designers like WilD Fox Swim, Beach Bunnies, Mara Hoffman Swim, and Frankie's Bikinis along with many others took the stage. 

The main trends include: sporty aesthetics, cutouts, geo prints, itty-bitty bottoms, and rash guard sets.

TAKEAWAY: From the water to the land. Swimsuit tops are becoming more functional for the woman on the go.

Espys, Yes please!

Morning ya'll

Last night I got a chance to watch some of this years Espy awards hosted by Drake honoring the best in sports. I could not help but notice how the guys stepped out this year. All I can say is either they were sophisticated with it or totally out of the box, nothing in between. The display of creative blazers took the show to a whole new level. Goodmorning Sweets,

I am truly excited about Betsy Johnson stepping onto the scene of activewear this Fall. Especially at this time of "Athleisure".The line is just as eclectic as her bold personality. Although she had some struggles with her RTW regular line, I'm hoping that this new venture will put her in a whole new category. What do you think?
