My First Lady

If you know me, you know how much I love my first lady. She is everything a woman could want to be, beauty and brains. Michelle Obama wasted no time showing off her signature style on inauguration weekend, rolling out a series of polished outfits for events from the Kids' Inaugural Concert to the president's swearing-in ceremony on Monday.

The first lady stepped out in a sophisticated blue Thom Browne coat and J. Crew shoes for a visit to St. John's Church on the morning of Inauguration Day, accessorizing with a Cathy Waterman necklace. Browne, an American designer better known for his menswear, designed the coat based on the style of a man's silk tie.

She then arrived at the inauguration ceremony sporting a bejeweled J. Crew belt, J.Crew gloves, Cathy Waterman earrings and Reed Krakoff boots. She shed the coat at the inaugural luncheon, offering a slight peek at her Thom Browne dress, though she covered it with a sweater by Reed Krakoff.

The photogenic fam arrived at St. John’s Church, hours before President Obama is sworn in for his second term in Office. For the occasion, Malia and Sasha were styled in vibrant coats by J.Crew and Kate Spade respectively, while our First Lady opted for a custom designed patterned silk jacquard blue coat and dress by Thom Browne - FBD

She offset her look with J.Crew heels, a J.Crew belt, and a necklace by Cathy Waterman.

The 2013 Inauguration got an extra dose of glamour today, thanks to Hip-Hop’s first couple, Beyonce and Jay-Z. The twosome attended the festivities today in DC with Jay-Z in a dapper Tom Ford suit and Beyonce in an Emilio Pucci dress

Beyonce Collaborating With H & M?

  Beyonce was spotted in the Bahamas on the set of an unknown photo shoot rocking a colorful number, with a yellow flower in her hair, & a bold red lip. Everyone was wondering what King B was up to when the photos leaked, but we didn't have to wonder for long. One of Bey's back-up dancers Kimberly Gipson spilled the beans via Twitter to her 6,200 followers tweeting "First day of trial in the Bahamas! H & M all set… Go." Ms. Gipson quickly realized the mistake she had made & abruptly deleted the tweet, but it was a little too late. Minutes after the tweet was posted, speculation about Beyonce working with the brand was all over fashion websites. Wonder if Kimberly will be out of a gig soon.

     This is said to be a campaign shoot for the store's Spring/Summer 2013 collection, but Beyonce nor H & M have not commented on the rumors. So I think it's a good chance that it may be true. If it is, it's a good look for Beyonce & the brand. Stay tuned to find out if Bey is really going to be the new face of H & M.

Kourtney & Kim Take Miami Again

     The Kardashians are returning to television! & even though half of the world is probably tired of seeing this family on their tube, I’m excited! For anyone else who can’t get enough of the K Dolls, Kourtney & Kim Take Miami premieres tomorrow night. Watch all the drama unfold while the girls search for a new location for the DASH Miami Store. The Miami spin off has to be my favorite because the craziest things go down when the sisters come to my hometown. In past seasons Kourtney found out she was pregnant with Mason, Scott lost his mind & seriously injured himself, & Khloe hooked up with her radio show co-host Terrance J.

      This season we can look forward to seeing Kourtney try to juggle two kids, work, & keep an eye on Scott. We’ll see Kim struggle with trying to get her divorce finalized, while already in another relationship with rapper Kanye West. Hopefully we’ll even get to see Kim & Kanye find out about their baby. Unfortunately my Favorite Kardashian, Khloe is not a regular on the show this season, but I’m sure she’ll be popping in & out of Miami as much as she can. Tune in to the most entertaining family on TV tomorrow on E!, Sunday January 20th at 9:00pm… The Kardashians are taking Miami again! Check out the super trailer below...

Super Head Back At It: How To Make Love To A Martian

      The woman they love to hate, the woman who gave all video chicks a bad rep is back at it. Super Head, a.k.a Karrine Steffans is about to "tell all" again. & this time she seems to be seeking revenge. Ms. Steffans has had an on again off again relationship with rapper Lil' Wayne for a while, but are they off for good this time? When he dropped her name in a song stating "No makeup she a 10 & she the best with the head, even better than Karrine" it clearly pissed her off. Karrine took to the web & posted a video giving Lil' Weezy a warning of what was to come. She's already insinuated that she was pregnant with his child. We all know how she put the men in the industry on blast in her first book Confessions of a Video Vixen, so this might get ugly. This should be juicy as well, I'm sure she'll give us all the details on their relationship from beginning to end, & leave nothing out. Am I the only one who wants to know what makes these women go nuts over Wayne?

      In no way, shape, or form do I condone what this chick does & how she chooses to do it, but I think she's a hell of a writer & a dope poet. She puts the whole truth out there for the world to read & I can respect her raw & uncut honesty. Plus, the messiness makes for a good read! Kim Kardashian's Menswear Look... Hit or Miss?

     Kim K was spotted out & about in this black YSL mens suit, paired with graphic Givenchy boots. She was styled by Rushka Bergman, & it isn't hard to tell that she didn't put this together herself. We're all so use to seeing Kim in a basic form fitting dress & a classic pump. I applaud her for taking the fashion risk & stepping outside of the box, but I'm not sure how I feel about this. I have no problem with a woman in a suit, but & actual men's suit… I can't deal! What do you dolls think of Kim's look? Did she hit or miss?

Ms. Dunn has been spicing things up lately with her appearances in all the most fashionable magazines known to woman. 

I personally love Jourdan Dunn, but I think the nude shots were unnecessary. She’s stunning fully clothed. What ever the motive was for this shoot. I think overall she is a gorgeous gal, && kudos to the shoot. It takes balls to bare all to the world, well... with a body like that.. It may not.

Rihanna & Chris Brown "Stay" Cover?

     Rihanna just continues to give the world something to talk about, & I think it's clear that she doesn't care what anyone has to say about her. & even though she says it's "nobody's business" we're all up in it, waiting to see what her next move is going to be. The Bajan beauty just posted a picture on her Instagram of what is supposed to be the cover for her new single "Stay", & guess who's accompanying her on the cover? Seems to be none other than Mr. Chris Brown himself. So is it safe to say that this record is about him?

earlier this week, I blogged about Destiny's Child's reunion. WELL.... there is another group/duo that is rumored to make a comeback..... Yep, Kris Kross is supposed to be jumping back on stage. (see what I did there? lolol)

unlike Destiny's Child, Kris Kross will not be making a new single or coming out with an album, they will be celebrating the mark of the 20th anniversary of So So Def Records at a concert!!

the new 106 and Park hosts Paigion and Shorty da Prince are dating. Although, this may be new news to most of us (including myself), Shorty da Prince and Paigion have actually been dating for some time now.

Paigion and Shorty da Prince presented an award together at this year's Soul Train Awards. They presented the award to Elle Varner for Best New Artist.

With the couple hosting 106 & Park together, is it safe to say that mixing business with pleasure is safe?
